Basic Features

Q: How do I use the app?

A: Follow these steps:

  1. Register children's names and favorite colors
  2. Set up chore descriptions and allowance amounts
  3. Children tap buttons when they complete chores
  4. Parents review records and pay allowances

Q: Can I register multiple children?

A: Yes, you can register multiple children and switch between them by swiping.

Q: How many types of chores can I set up?

A: You can set up 6 different types of chores.

Settings

Q: I forgot my PIN code

A: For security reasons, we don't provide PIN recovery. You'll need to delete and reinstall the app, then set up a new PIN. This will lose your data unless you had iCloud sync enabled.

Q: Can I change the language settings?

A: Yes, you can change the language from the parent dashboard settings. The app supports Japanese, English, Chinese, and Korean, with automatic currency switching.

Q: Can I change allowance amounts?

A: Yes, you can adjust allowance amounts by modifying chore settings from the parent dashboard.

iCloud Sync

Q: How do I set up iCloud sync?

A: If you're signed into an iCloud account, sync happens automatically. You can check sync status in the settings.

Q: Sync isn't working properly

A: Please check the following:

  • Are you signed into an iCloud account?
  • Is your internet connection stable?
  • Do you have sufficient iCloud storage?
  • Is iCloud enabled for the app in device settings?

Q: How long does data sync take?

A: Sync usually completes within a few minutes, but may take longer depending on data volume and network conditions.

Troubleshooting

Q: The app won't start

A: Try the following:

  1. Restart your device
  2. Force close and restart the app
  3. Check for app updates in the App Store
  4. Ensure iOS/iPadOS is up to date

Q: My data disappeared

A: If you had iCloud sync enabled, try data recovery from the settings screen. If sync was disabled, unfortunately data cannot be recovered.

Q: The app is running slowly

A: Try the following:

  • Restart your device
  • Close other apps to free up memory
  • Check available device storage

Security

Q: Can children change settings without permission?

A: No, the parent settings screen is protected by a PIN code, so children cannot change settings.

Q: Is my data stored securely?

A: Yes, all data is encrypted during storage. When using iCloud sync, data is also protected by Apple's high security standards. See our Privacy Policy for details.
